The Inman Local School Council (LSC) is a collaborative group of parents, teachers, and business partners, whose purpose is to advise and make recommendations to the principal, local board of education and local school superintendent on matters relating to school improvement
and student achievement. The establishment of school councils, under Georgia’s A+ Education Reform Act of 2000, is intended to help local boards of education by bringing parents and the community together with teachers and school administrators to create better understanding and mutual respect for each other’s concerns. Inman’s Local School Coucil is composed of five parents, one business partner, two certified teachers and the school’s principal.
This year’s council members are
John Webster (Chair), Dwight Blackwood (Co-Chair), Eric Pinckney (Secretary), Pamela Andrews, Melissa Nunnink, Nancy Boyd, Mike Holiman, Pam Revie-Pettersen, and
Betsy Bockman. The Inman LSC meets the last Monday of every month at
4:15 PM in the Media Center. Meetings are open to all members of the Inman community, so please don't hesitate to join us and find out more about Inman's Local School Council.
